Welcome to the catalog for exploring gene-level metrics
In this table, you can explore various gene properties obtained from the analysis of female Drosophila head and body transcriptomes. The table displays the following columns:
  1. FlyBase ID: The unique identifier for each gene assigned by FlyBase.
  2. Name: The full name of the gene.
  3. Symbol: The standard abbreviation for the gene, commonly used for reference.
  4. Location: The genomic location of the gene.
  5. Blocks (Head): The block(s) in which the gene is found in the head transcriptome analysis. N/A indicates that the gene was not included in the Stochastic Block Model analysis because it either a) didn't cross the stringent gene expression threshold (mean CPM >5) and/or b) was not identified in all samples used in the SBM analysis.
  6. Blocks (Body): The block(s) in which the gene is found in the body transcriptome analysis. N/A indicates that the gene was not included in the Stochastic Block Model analysis because it either a) didn't cross the stringent gene expression threshold (mean CPM >5) and/or b) was not identified in all samples used in the SBM analysis.
  7. Expression: Denotes whether the gene is expressed in the head and/or body.
  8. Mean CPM (Head): The average Counts Per Million (CPM) of the gene expression in the head tissue.
  9. Mean CPM (Body): The average Counts Per Million (CPM) of the gene expression in the body tissue.
  10. DE Analysis: The results of the differential expression analysis for the gene.
  11. eQTL Info: Information on expression Quantitative Trait Loci (eQTL) associated with the gene.
Use the search and sorting features to find genes based on their FlyBase ID, symbol, expression level, or tissue specificity. Click on a specific FlyBase ID to view more detailed information about the gene.
